About this job area
At IKEA Food, no day is the same. As an employee, you will work in a varied and fast-paced work environment. You will have the opportunity to be involved in several aspects of our restaurant operations. This includes tasks ranging from producing and serving food, welcoming our customers, being active at the cash register, and staffing the dishwashing area. It will involve creating sustainable food experiences by focusing on quality, food safety, and reducing food waste.
We serve something for everyone - breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner. The Food function consists of several different departments such as customer restaurant, staff cafeteria, Bistro, and the Food Market. Our team of about 40 employees works together to exceed our guests' expectations while ensuring we have fun along the way!
About this job area
The positions we are recruiting for are:
• 25 hours/week, temporary position. The shifts are scheduled for about 4 days a week, both day and evening shifts, weekdays, and every other weekend.
• 8 hours/week, permanent position with a 6-month probation period. The shifts are scheduled for every other weekend and 1 evening a week.
Start date by agreement, preferably as soon as possible.
We offer a salary according to collective agreements, and in addition to your base salary, you will also receive extra compensation for working during unsocial hours. For example, if you work on Saturdays after 12:00 PM, all Sundays, and public holidays, you will receive 100% extra compensation.
